One thing I noticed immediately when I walked into C2E2 was the fact that I was in a huge community of geeks and fanboys.(kind of obvious, but read on.) It was terrifying, awesome, ultimate, spectacular and amazing. I was in heaven, surrounded by comic-books, action figures and dead pool cosplayers.(More on that later. Definitely.)
It was kind of scary that there was so much stuff. If I had a million dollars, I could have wasted all of it in less than an hour. Yeah, that's scary. I only got one thing, and I bet there was better stuff out there. Yeah, thats kind of sad.
So, Deadpool. Yeah. Um, okay. This-- This is just kind of, um, weird, I guess. There's a character in the Marvel universe named Wadey Wilson, A.K.A. Deadpool. He is just a weird super-hero. Really weird. And if you're thinking oh, yeah Deadpool, he was in that Wolverine movie awhile back. Wrong. Really wrong. Like, Spider-Man 3-was-cool, wrong. But, he is just a really awkward guy, with very strange villains. So, there is a Deadpool video-game coming out very soon, and apparently now, everyone loves Deadpool. (Don't ask me why. Really, please, don't. I'm begging you.) So, there are like 50 billion Deadpool cosplayers, all in character. ARRRRGH!!! So annoying!

C2E2
I have awe-inspiring amazing news, and very, very depressing news. I have been researching the Ultimatum event in Ultimate Marvel Comics. It is very depressing, and hosted the deaths of many of my favorite characters in the Ultimate universe. The basic summary of the event is found at the Ultimatum page on wikipedia. Know that this is a very sad and apocalyptic story line.
Okay good news time! I went to C2E2 last weekend and it was awesome! I could spend so much time talking about the vendors alone. But I think one sentence sums it up.
"There's... so... much... stuff..." -Xavier Golden, April 27th 2013, Chicago McCormick place.
I went to an amazing (you could even say Superior) panel about the upcoming events in the Superior Spider-Man man comic I am currently subscribed to. It is an awesome comic and the people their obviously had great ideas. I was very glad I came this year and will definitely go next year.

Take back!!
I was just reading my previous blog posts and for my Maximum Ride book review, DO NOT READ THE SERIES!! It ends badly, with clones. Okay, I cannot diss clones as I am a Spider-Man and he has, like, 20 clone sagas. (15 to be precise) anyways, you can read the first book but don't read the rest!!

p.s. I think this is the first time I have posted two posts within three minutes (maybe five)

Robin's Reckoning (Spoiler Alert!Spoiler Alert!Spoiler Alert)
Episodes 32&33, season 2 of Batman the Animated Series: Robin's Reckoning
This episode depicts the start of the separation between Batman and Robin, the Dynamic Duo. Even though they don't actually separate until season 3, you can see when you watch this that there is a rousing tension between the Dynamic Duo and that Robin is very angry at Batman for ordering him around.
The plot for Robin's Reckoning, pt.1 is very simple. Tony Zucco(The killer of Dick Grayson's parents as huge Batman fans such as moi already know) is leaving Gotham city. Okay, yeah, not exactly an "Almost Got 'Em" awesome plot but, in part two the story goes deeper. Part two reveals to the people who don't already know (unlike moi, once again,) that when the Haley Circus did not pay Tony Zucco's protection fee, the gangster sabotaged the trapeze wires, and that led to the death of Dick Grayson, a young acrobats' parents. Dick Grayson is adopted by Bruce Wayne, for the young billionaire knows what this child is feeling, losing his parents to a gangster. (If you don't know why, why are you reading this!!) Dick Grayson seeks revenge, but is almost killed by the gangster who killed his parents. This is when Batman comes in and reveals himself to his ward as his adoptive father.
Next, viewers assume is when Dick Grayson becomes Robin and the Dynamic Duo is formed. But the episode's flash back end's before that actually takes place. Robin, learning of Tony Zucco's whereabouts and confronts him by almost running him over with his bike. Batman appears after a fight with the rest of Zucco's gang and tells Dick that his reason for reluctancy of letting Robin confront Zucco is in fear that Zucco might kill Dick, as he killed his parents.
Out of 10 stars, this episode gets a 7 out of 10. I recommend this to anyone with a love for Dick Grayson and a hankering for a good 45 minutes of T.V.
- Xavi Golden, huge fan of Dick Grayson, and an even larger Batman fan. Next, fan art that is a real depiction of the character

Washington D.C.
One of my favorite parts of Washington D.C. was colonial Williamsburg. It was an awe-filled learning experience to feel like you were actually back in time in 1976. Um... 1816? No, wait... But it was really cool that you could have the awe-filled experience of being back in time in colonial days and be surrounded by the force that was consuming all of America, that barged its way into every city, every home, Starbucks!
But there was some very serious and educational stuff there that I very much payed attention to.(At least 60% of the time according to my mom.) There was the Political Conversations where famous presidents or governors constantly broke character and spoke their (Or at least what the actor thought was their) views on recent political controversies and challenges or other questions that were asked. Like health-care. (I bet that person voted for Romney)
There were also little shops that people worked in and showed you what professions or jobs they had and how it affected the economy, the population, and the fact that Americans used to rely on another country to sell us and give us goods back in the times of the constitution. Oh, wait, we still do that.(Thanks China!)
Well, that was my last post on D.C., and I hope you enjoyed my stories and thoughts about my nation under God's capitol, and I hope you readers can go their sometime and learn about how America began, its history, and the what year the constitution was signed (1767?). You have my sincerest apologies about not posting for so long, or at least as much I feel comfortable being sincere to every one on the internet who is ever going to read this.

Washington D.C.
I also visited the Natural History Smithsonian in Washington D.C. But, I am very sad to say it was partly disappointing. They did have some awesome exhibits, like the Dinosaur and Gems & Minerals displays, but those were the best things. There was no Blue Whale or even a good display of the Hope Diamond.
I loved the Dinosaur exhibit. It was very cool, and the complete sets of fossils they had were amazing! They did have a pretty cool copy of Sue, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, but I've seen the real one in Chicago. The mineral exhibit was the best though. The gems and rocks they had were great! I had lots of fun with my Dad trying to decipher what elements were in those marvelous minerals. But the best thing I saw in the Gems & Minerals exhibit was the fuzzy diamond! I also saw the sharpest mineral in the world.
I also went to the Library of congress that day. And I must say, the architecture of that building was utterly splendorous! The little names, designs, and details of that building was amazing! It makes sense that they have very high security in that place. They also had two of the most oldest and historic Bibles in the world! That building also had a tunnel to the Capitol, but for my nations most important building, it was hardly cool.

Washington D.C.
I just visited the Air & Space Smithsonian museum, and it's 100% awesome-sauce! They had decommissioned nuclear missiles, a copy of the first wright brothers plane and the real Skylab space station, and so much more!
My favorite part of the Air & Space museum was the main level where they had the actual mercury, gemini, and apollo command modules! They were so cool! You could see every tiny piece of machinery and tools the astronauts had on their ship!
I also liked the apollo relics and machinery the museum had. They had the actual technology from the lunar modules! They even had a space catheter and toilet from the ships!!! And they were used!!!(And flushed) They also had actual epic shuttle engines! They were huge!
